Drift Protocol Secures $148M from Tether After $270M Exploit, Switches to USDT

Decentralized exchange Drift has raised $148 million from Tether and other partners following a major exploit that drained over $270 million in user funds. The protocol plans to use the capital to compensate affected users and relaunch as a USDT-based perpetuals DEX on the Solana network.
